Normally love this place. Not today. Came here after heading back home from a baseball game. No Kiwi Allure on the menu, which is why we stopped in the first place. My fiancé is a little more picky about his beers, I can find whatever. No other sours on tap. The bartender recommended buying a 4 pack of the Kiwi Allure and I got my Summerly. I went outside and had already paid the bill and was wondering what was taking my fiancé so long inside. He comes out to where I 'm sitting and is visibly annoyed. He said that the bartender told him that he cannot drink a beer that he just purchased from their own brewery on their patio because it 's a liability. I 'm sorry, what? Seriously...how is it any different from purchasing a beer from the bar and going outside? She told him that he could walk around with it, but not on our patio. Again...what? Ummm, you know having an open container is illegal, right? We were flabbergasted by this recommendation. I drank my beer quickly and we took off. As we 're walking to the car, thIs is the sign we see, ironic? Not sure, but pretty annoyed by the whole situation. We aren 't liable for your drinking, but please, break the law and walk around with an open container. Cool.

Wait staff is super unfriendly... they're overworked but super rude. Especially the dude with the shaved side of the head super passive aggressive!!

We've heard great things about this brewery thought their mission statement was authentic; however, terrible manager, wait staff and bartenders! Yes, we felt we experienced RACISM as we were refused service as African Americans at POLLYANNA BREWING COMPANY. For 20-minutes the Waitress 2 Bartender's passed by us, and waited on other patrons. They refilled multiple pints never approached our table. When we finally got the Waitress' attention we were told we missed last call. To make matters worst, when we advised we had been there for 20-minutes, the Waitress advised she did not see us. I DO NOT recommend the establishment as they are unprofessional and clearly RACIST. Yes, glasses were half full for all customers in the establishment, continued to be filled while we sat by waiting to be served, but we weren't viewed as customers.
