Spizz - Leipzig

Waren zum Frühstück da. Es war nicht so voll, aber wir mussten dennoch eine Weile warten. 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung fiel dann auf, dass ein Rührei aus 2 Eiern einfach nicht machbar ist. Warum weiß ich auch nicht. Also ohne Ei! Das Frühstück selbst war nicht besonders viel und geschmacklich sehr dürftig. Wenigstens war die Kellnerin nett!

In Leipzig for a long weekend we enjoyed a drink here in the day in the square and thought we would pop back for dinner. The schnitzel was very tasty, and there was a range for all of us. The service was friendly and the staff spoke reasonable English. A worthwhile stop.

Viele Außenplätze mit guter Lager. Toller Blick auf Markt, Rathaus und das Treiben in der Barfußgasse.Waren Sonntag- und Montagabend da, Getränke und das Essen kamen fix.Die aufmerksamen Bedienungen haben auch Bestellungen der Nebentische aufgenommen und gebracht - die Rechnung hat trotzdem gestimmt. Der Service war richtig gut und erkannte uns trotz des Trubels wieder. Die Bedienungen unterhielt sich, wenn Zeit war, nett mit den Gästen. Auf Fragen wurde uns bei der weiteren Orientierung in der Stadt gut geholfen.Geschmacklich ist das Essen recht gut, dazu ein tolles Ambiente.

Das Ambiente im Spizz ist top - keine Frage. Ob Brunch oder Cocktails, dort gibt es so ziemlich alles. Leider wartet man in den Stoßzeiten wie Freitag Nachmittag schon mal über eine halbe Stunde auf ein Getränk und das Personal wirkt teilweise unorganisiert.Sehr zu empfehlen sind allerdings die Partys im Spizz-Keller ;)

In Leipzig 4 days. Been here 4 different times. Breakfast lunch and late night for drinks. We found staff very friendly and tolerant of our limited German language. Very central. Great spot for people watching. Food good. Street cafe style sitting and service. Always seems to be open. One of a few places open early and quite late. 2am on a Sunday night. Have a seat and take in the activity in the central square. And they take credit card. Many restaurants cafes in old town are cash only. Fun and very convenient if you are staying close to central square and It provides for a lot of different needs. AM Mid day PM meeting spot. Or just a drink. Cheers
