Mio - Leipzig

We ate at Mio last night after leaving another restaurant around the corner because the waitress was so rude. What a contrast! The waiter was happy to serve us dinner at their street side tables with comfy couch seating. He was quick to offer us an English language menu which we appreciated. We ate vegetarian risotto, bruschetta and chicken salad - all delicious. Attentive, professional service - highly recommended.

We were there for lunch on a monday. The food was good an the price okay. Fast kitchen and frindly staff. Sweet restaurant but nothing special.

I went there with a group of coworkers and was treated to a very nice meal. The veal schnitzel was cooked perfectly, and the potato salad accompanied it well. The beer was nice and cold, and the good company made for a nice evening. The service was very good, and they were patient with me as German is not as good as it should be. I will visit there again when in Leipzig.

We took the bus to the restaurant with the Leipzig three days forfait. After a tasty starter zuchinnicremesuppe and champignons, we tasted a real schnitzel, vealmeat! Delicious and reasonable priced!

I stumbled upon Mio as I was sightseeing in the neighboorhood. The staff is extremly friendly, great service. The food is not bad at all, I was a bit disappointed by the rösti which did not really look like some, but more like potatoe galettes, no taste, not rispy, but the meat was wonderful, the chocolate cake was really tasty.
