Although the saturation after appetizer and main court was already far advanced, the curiosity on desserts could only be shut down by a series of them. we were not disappointed in this process. each of the present found something appealing on the map so that a total of four generations go very happy and saturated to home. after a short talk with the very friendly and dedicated (the older generation of our family is somewhat more demanding and picky: service, we even have a private guided tour through the vaulted cellar as well as the dreamlike mirror space. so we could book a larger family event for the coming year. as a conclusion: both kulinar and spatially absolutely recommended! they are looking for reasons and occasions to return as soon as possible. in October 2015
10. 15 to two we visited the distillery in the heart of the möckern and were delighted. from the great environment of the beautiful house to the excellent service to the excellent food: everything was perfect! above all we liked that for the vegetarian of us there are really exciting dishes that are delicious, unknown and wonderful. If we weren't from berlin, we'd always eat here. but the next visit in leipzig will be safe!
A new business dinner on 03.03.15 led us to the herrenhaus möckern, an address that was unknown to me until then. in the evening at the gourmet restaurant, the residency offers two very extensive menus, a bretonian and a german. we have decided to take 8 passages of the German edelsauer. the development intensity and the diverse use of different edgy and acidic notations was an extraordinary taste experience. the building - an almost 700 year old manor house - is certainly not only unique for leipzig. at the end of the evening the chef peter did not lead us through the house and in the historic hall of the house. we are very happy to come back.
