Gaststatte Waldfrieden - Leipzig

We visit Leipzig for first time for 5 days and we try few restaurants which is in top5 lists but we come back in this for 2 times because great atmosphere, nice meal good wine and big portion of dish. Great service, smoking area and hospitality.

Very friendly service, tasty veggie food but a little too much like a meat dish. Pleasant surroundings and a real local feel. I suspect the food is made to order it seemed to take a while to arrive. Would be better with a wider choice for veggies, this is (afterall) in Connewitz.

Huge, cozy, very beautiful beer garden with large pirate ship for the small guests. Very nice staff, the food just super delicious! For a stay in the south of Leipzig it is absolutely necessary!

Beautiful location in the south of Leipzig. With seven people we had reserved a table and were a bit cramped, but it was still a nice, pleasant evening. The food was good in a point scale from 1 to 10 with a good 6). The service was friendly, but unfortunately forget the changes in the card standard were simply forgotten or ignored).

Super delicious food (especially carving! Drinks and a beautiful ambience. In original and outside a large outdoor seating.
