Delicious authentic Syrian food. Must try.

They have just renovated the whole interior. I think I prefer the old more rough look, but the new seats are definitely more comfy. Anyway, the food is still amazing. The portions seem slightly smaller but still large enough to fill a hungry stomach. The shwarma and kebabs are the best, with a great selection of sauces. For desserts, there is a Damascus bakery right next doors.

Here you will get delicious meals and sweets for absolute reasonable price. The staff was very polite and gave us a sample from different dishes. Therefore self-service is bearable. A family of four can be sated for about 30 EUR. If you like ambience you should avoid. If you you like very tasty food you should visit the Damaskus . Enjoy it!
