I had to spend about 3/4 of an hour in the premises, awaiting for a performance to commence, so I decided to try the menu. Taking into consideration the pressure of the time I ordered a beer and a small dish. After 10 min I was asked to pay in advance. After 20 min I asked about my food. No reaction! After about 40 min. I demanded my money back, since it was clear that there was no time any more to eat in decency before attending the performance. The staff refused me the money and asked me to wait for the cook to explain. I finally managed to find the location manager and complained. After consulting with his staff, the manager told me that my order was booked 28 min ago (i.e. about 10 min after I placed it), and due to the huge amount of the orderings (the location was not full at the time I placed the order) I could not demand to be served much sooner. So the blame was on me... I asked for my money, but the manager offered me only a meal after the performance, and not even the plate I ordered because I had ordered the last portion and after cancelling it, they sold it to another patron! So they got the price twice! After that I attended the performance in anger and hunger and went afterwards to a very nice trattoria where I was served promptly and enjoyed a very nice portion of delicious pasta. The betterEaters owe me my money... Resume: greedy and incompetent people who have no idea of good service. And if this is so, the food cannot be any better.... If I were an official cultural representative of the City of Leipzig, I would reconsider further supporting this establishment....
