Barcelona - Leipzig

Really nice tapas restaurant in Leipzig, staff are very friendly and helpful for non German speaker, good food and the Spanish wine was excellent. The mixed plates of tapas is a good idea, also the Gambas was tasty. Nice outdoors garden at the back of...the restaurant which is the prime seating for eating...many tables booked. Would go back for sure.

This was a perfect spot to hangout with friends, sample a variety of foods and wine, and enjoy the vibe of an outdoor beer garden. We had a mixed cold platter (photo posted) that was scrumptious, and a mix of hot tapas that included beef...cheeks the most tender meat ever and soooo flavorful! Service was at a comfortable pace, not fast but great for a group of friends who just want to hang out and enjoy tasty food and each others' company.

Ended up here watching the Euros Germany V Poland. Friendly atmosphere, pretty chilled. Good selection of beer and clean toilets.

The tapas at Barcelona are very good but plan on a full evening because you will wait for your food. The service was average and we had to flag the wait staff down to reorder drinks.

We had arrived late after long day of travel and couldn't face heavy German food and this place was also just near our AirBnB accommodation. Ideal! Tapas was the best we've had outside Spain, and better than some there too. Agree with everyone else that...the pig cheeks, unlikely though that sounds, are delicious. A special chorizo, artichoke hearts and more very good. Fairly welcoming, busy but not in your face, dogs also welcome.
