The Grove Lock - Leighton Buzzard

Always love it and think that eating is improved only by the service and management. fiona the waitress is always amazing and knows how to treat customers. the manager is why the place is so popular. some great employees in the run of the years. Still complaining at here places have always days when the dinge can go wrong and therefore they go back. the grove gives new employees a chance and they are often soon at their job. we all need a chance.

Never a disappointment. Nice staff, good food and a great location even dog friendly like a proper pub should be. Highly recommended.

The Grove Lock is a fine pub in a perfect location. Watch the narrow boats on the canal with some top quality food and a decent pint. 10/10.

Service is always good with friendly and helpful staff. Food is freshly cooked. In winter there is always a fire going and in summer plenty of space to sit outside beside the canal and enjoy the sunshine.

First ever time having visited this pub was a brilliant choice for what its worth I would say yes food quality was absolutely unreal like I had ordered a starter Crispy squid was absolutely unreal and Hummus to share which was a great start and then for mains I ordered Fullers Battered fish and chips and wow for what you pay its worth it. My other friends had ordered pies and burgers etc. Friendly environment in the pub, Dog Friendly too as I seen someone who had their dog in the pub. The reason why I have given 4 stars is because the service was bit slow and disappointing, whether if its to do with staff shortage god knows but we had booked our table in advance. 3 of the orders which were amended at the time of ordering were not made correctly *instead of Mash had asked for Chips* They immediately went and got chips for those individuals. I would definitely visit again to try other things off the menu.
