Visited for the opening of the Saturday seafood tapas, opted to try each of the starters (oysters, and whelks which were in possibly the tastiest garlic butter we've ever tried) alongside a glass of wine and the tapas selection. The restaurant is small but well proportioned and very tastefully decorated. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, explaining each dish and the background to the selection. As a final hurrah for our trip to Southend-on-Sea it was a lovely end to our few days and would absolutely recommend a visit for the tapas. At £12pp the portions were generous and delicious.

The seafood tapas had lunch here (okt '20), which was incredible value for money. really delicious selection and good portions. the menu varies (we had sardines, snuggles and fish cakes), but will always come with potatoes, broth and salat. they can also start the meal with which we choose the oysters and / or whelks. small but perfectly matched wine selection. great service very friendly and efficient. the restaurant itself is small, but stylish. the tables are sufficiently distributed and planned (masks and sanitisers).

If I could give 5 stars, I would. definitely my favorite restaurant, eating is amazing. highly recommended.

I've eaten a few times here and was blown away from the food at both places. it is a restaurant without menu, but they are guaranteed to eat 7 courses of exquisite meals. the cook only uses local ingredients so that they are always super fresh. all he cooks is milk, sugar and gluten free and they can order the vegan taste menu without fuss. because everything is generated locally, the menu changes regularly with the season, so it is worth more than once. highly recommended would give these 5 stars if I could.
