The food and the service were incredible. the waitress was very helpful when we asked about others and even picked up one to try. would recommend 100% and go back
The personal was beautiful, very friendly and informative eating was amazing. we had popadomen with pickles, and veg and not veg samosas to start. hot and tasty we then saw a dish at an adjacent table that we had not seen yet. So the lady gave us one to try. it was a dosa, a long pancake with lens soup and a dip. it was very nice. we had a lot of curries and rice for net, all were very good, best was the peshwari naan. I could die for them, all freshly baked, directly from the too full to pudding, so can not comment we can highly recommend this restaurant.
My wife and I booked a table when we were in a local theatre on a show. at the arrival they did not seem to know about our booking and had to wait 10 minutes while a table was found. once we didn't sit in demand...if we want to drink something and our drinks order, nothing else, was taken 25 minutes. then the wrong drinks were brought twice, and our actual drink order was finally made available after 50 minutes, and our food order has not been accepted. Finally we had to leave the restaurant to visit the show we had expected our food order was not yet taken. an exceptionally bad experience with not recommending a single thing,
We stayed in leicester for a overnight stay and wanted to have Indian food after we looked at some places and read the reviews we selected here. I and my wife visited. the restaurant. Make sure that there are stairs to the entrance, the decor...inside could be a little more authentic, instead of simple walls and it is a bit crawling when full. the service. Not to blame, fast and with a smile from all employees. eating. we had poppadome and pickle tablet that were fresh. for the net we had chicken tikka biriyani that contained a cooked egg, it had a kick of seasoned, chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and we shared a plain nan. everything was fresh, we both agreed that we had not Indian eating so well in years. it was hot to get to our table quickly. the curry was perfectly seasoned and a lot of it. the next time we are in leicester, we will eat here definitiw again, it is a shame that we cannot deliver to south derbyshire. the only part of our visit were the loud, inconspicuous, dark one city fans (men and women) who tell the whole restaurant how good mahrez is! then they give to the personal abuse because the food did not taste as she wanted! I would give a 5-star review if the decor was better than the simple walls.
