Casa Cafe/cheese Cottage - Leicester

We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the University with our sons. We decided to avoid the overpriced and overcooked hotel buffet breakfast and instead drove into the nearest town. We were pleasantly surprised to find a menu that catered to my vegetarian wife, which is not always easy to come by. The food was of good quality, well cooked, and plentiful. The coffee was excellent as well. What stood out the most was the great atmosphere of the restaurant. It seemed to have an Italian influence, as there was a group of men enjoying breakfast together and creating a lively atmosphere with their laughter and conversation. If you find yourself in Loughborough and in need of a satisfying meal, I highly recommend this place.

Popped in here yesterday having never been to Loughborough but needing some brunch. Excellent panini, freshly made great Italian coffee. Reasonably priced a small seating area, in a bit of a sun trap. Friendly service and a good choice, worth a visit

The person on the till has tried to short change my 81 year old Mum, giving her change for £10 rather than £20. When queried, they handed the full change back without question. This has happend more than once. I wonder how many elderly people are experiencing this 'mistake '.
