Ben's Kitchen - Leicester

I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so I decided to make a reservation for my birthday. There were seven of us at the table, and each of us agreed that the dining experience was fantastic. I enjoyed the gluten-free fish and chips, which were incredibly delicious, while my partner had tapas that I couldn't resist stealing from—everything was so tasty. Ben came over personally to check on our food preferences and allergies, and all the staff were kind and attentive. The prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. Thank you for a memorable first visit; we’ll definitely be back soon!

The dining experience was pleasant, with great presentation. However, I wasn't informed when I booked the table that there would be a live band on the pub side. Since I had my 10-week-old granddaughter with me, we were moved to the quieter end of the empty adjoining space. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they expressed apologies when my partner's food choices were unavailable. We usually enjoy a diverse range of flavors, but we found some dishes weren't to our liking. That said, everyone has different tastes!

We had a wonderful Sunday dinner! I enjoyed the honey-glazed baked gammon, while my partner opted for turkey. The selection of vegetables was impressive, featuring three varieties of carrots, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, and ratatouille. For dessert, we had summer fruit crumble, pumpkin, fresh fruit salad, and ice cream. The place was very busy, so it's definitely a good idea to make a reservation.

Eating was amazing! highly recommended if they are in the opposite.

Amazing food, really good service and friendly people. Ben came out and spoke to us after a short delay on our desserts which was good of him. Definately will be back soon 5*
