Anika Balti Express - Leicester

Poor quality service. Ordered at 8:30pm on a thursday night. By 10pm there was no sign of the food so we called to see where it was and were told it would be another 30 minutes because they hadnt seen the order (we ordered online). Which would mean we wouldnt have had food for at least 2 hours after we d ordered most likely longer as i doubt it would have been out in another 30 minutes. This isnt the first time theyve done this and they never apologise. In addition to this we ve had food on other occasions that wasnt properly cooked including meat so we were both ill afterwards. Now have the aggrevation of getting a refund, fortunetly I ordered using paypal.

I've used Anika for at least 5 years now and they have always been nice ,sometimes take a long time to deliver but nice.tonight i ordered a takeaway to collect and a new voice answered the phone and took my order,picked food up got home and my order was wrong,chips cold,curry wrong,called them back and the usual man answered the phone and was so so rude.he told me i had ordered something i didn't even like and have an allergy to,told me point blank he wasn't arguing with me (even though i wasn't arguing just wanted my order put right) very very disappointed,i will never ever order from there again, and they also like cash payments when the lady answers but if u say u always pay by card they accept it . my whole meal went in the bin,work hard for my money to treat myself now and again.will be finding another indian takeaway for sure.if u have new staff or are urself having a bad day,don't talk to ur customers like something u have just stepped in .

Had a delivery on recommendation and have to say the food was fantastic! Everything was cooked with fresh ingredients and was really tasty. Delivery was also prompt. I can highly recommend. Quality food. You won’t be disappointed!

The food is fantastic....high quality but not expensive...have ordered quite a few times for delivery and the food always turns up still hot and delicious....would highly recommend to anybody....

Well we were visiting family and wanted a takeaway so I found this place on trip advisor and checked the food hygiene rating which is also a 5 so good all round. Picked a menu up before opening time and was met by a friendly gentleman. So later ordered several items including a set meal for 2 all the food arrived without issue and the food was fab, hot and very tasty we will definitely use again when visiting family. Thank you very much Adrian and the Biggs family
