Pleasant Street Diner - Leicester

I visit this restaurant every week, and the staff is amazing, particularly my waitress on Sundays! It's my favorite spot for breakfast. I always look forward to the welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and generous portions. You definitely need to come hungry! The value for the quality of the meals is outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of a great dining experience and a wonderful meal.

The fish fries were cooked perfectly. Just make sure to give them some time; the fish shouldn’t be dry—moist, tender flakes are the way to go. Lightly colored batter not only looks more appealing but also tastes significantly better than overcooked options. The lobster roll was exceptional and definitely worth the price. I plan to return and share my preferences for how I like my food prepared because I believe in giving places a second chance.

A cozy little spot on Route 56. I’m not from around here, but I was in need of coffee and a meal, and this place was a fantastic discovery. It has a warm, intimate atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was quite good—I'm almost certain my omelet had fresh spinach in it, which was a nice touch. The portion sizes were generous for the price. I will definitely return when I’m in the area. Overall, if you're traveling to or from Spencer or Leicester, this charming diner is a great stop.

Great food. The home made chips and tater tots are awesome. Burgers are awesome. And so are the tuna melts. Potato salad was amazing. The owner of the diner is a very down to earth straight forward no bs woman. She is very nice. Awesome food awesome atmosphere will be going again!

I enjoyed their fish and chips but they need to work on their wait time. Don't promise something in 15 minutes if it's going to take an hour. Also, I ordered the onion rings but got fries. It was take out and I discovered it when I returned to my mother-in-law's condo. Too hungry and too tired to return.
