One of the high end sushi places in Utah County. Some creative rolls as well. Getting pricey but worth it for good fish and flavorful dishes. Also some creative appetizers. Good seaweed salad. I love their sushi. The staff is always very nice and now that I’m pregnant they always cook my fish for me and it helps a lot! We have been long time customers of this Tsunami location—even through the pandemic we supported them in hopes they would make it, in spite of their high priced menu. However, a recent experience has left me feeling I will never return. We ordered two takeout lunch entrees. Teriyaki steak, salmon and chicken. When we got home there was NO Teriyaki. The food is awful without the sauce—hardly edible imo, and I did not eat mine for this reason. We called without being upset and simply asked them to remove one of the meals because although it was awful and not enjoyable, my son ate his meal—but I could not get through it. Instead of filling what I believe is a perfectly reasonable request, they discussed it with the manager and offered to take $5 off. Ok. Whatever. Never dropping another $50 or Benjamin at this place again. On mere principle alone—I am tired of being taken advantage of at restaurants who accept zero accountability for giving you a lousy meal and experience—yet have no problem taking your money!
