Wild Hare Cider Cabin - Leesburg

Wild Hare is one of those hidden gems that many people haven’t discovered yet. When I used to think of ciders, my mind immediately went to Angry Orchard, which is overly sweet and heavy. This is definitely NOT the case at Wild Hare. Their ciders are refreshing and smooth while still packing a punch. I became a loyal customer after visiting their locations in Fredericksburg, Warrenton, and now Leesburg. The flavors are incredibly unique—have you ever tried jasmine tea cider, habanero, or pineapple jalapeño? These creative combinations really work. They also offer seasonal limited-edition flavors, so there’s always something new to try. Their membership club provides a monthly growler along with other benefits, and when you do the math, it pays for itself. Beyond the unique and refreshing flavors, customer service has been excellent at all locations. I can’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re near any of their locations, make sure to visit and experience their inventive ciders!

We were the only ones in the restaurant. There was a great selection of ciders. I was hoping for a tasting flight, but instead, we ordered different flavors and shared them around the table. The atmosphere inside wasn't very lively, so we chose to sit outside.

I truly had a fantastic experience at Bogey. I appreciated that they were dog-friendly and even provided bones for our pup. We savored some ciders while spending time with family and new friends, making for a wonderful escape from the rain. I highly recommend stopping by! Price per person: $10–20. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. My husband and I visited this restaurant on a late Saturday afternoon for a tasting. We selected the Hatch, Willow, and the seasonal Bloom, and we sat outside to soak in the lovely weather. Our favorite of the three was definitely the Bloom. We were thrilled to discover that Wild Hare hosts trivia night on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, and we can't wait to give it a try! The location is fantastic, situated near Firework pizza and several other restaurants that smelled delicious.

I don't come across many cideries, so when I do, it feels like a bonus. Wild Hare was a wonderful discovery. During my visit, they had six ciders on offer. I sampled four of them, and they were all excellent and exactly as described. If you get the chance to try the mango habanero cider, don’t miss it—it's fantastic! Despite being a small venue, they also had plenty of outdoor seating available.
