Taipei Cafe - Leesburg

Most of the positive reviews are meant for Taipei cafe in Rockville Maryland. Food at this location is mainly american chinese food. Had crispy beef but it was way over fried... More like fried cardboard with tangy sweet syrup over it. Couldn't tell if it was cardboard or anything else.

Horrible restaurant! I ordered General Tsos chicken white meat they sent me sweet sour chicken pieces tossed in general tsos sauce. When I called them to say that this was sweet sour chicken not made like general tsos the rude young lady said oh this is how we’ve been doing it for 20years. This is stealing from your customers when they expect a fish made a certain way they just take the easy way out by charging you AN EXTRA DOLLAR FOR WHITE MEAT WHEN SWEET SOUR CHICKEN ALREADY COMES WITH WHITE MEAT!!!! It’s crazy how much they cheat the people in Leesburg…mostly Hispanic people SMH. HORRIBLE PLACE.

I love, love this restaurant (Taipei Cafe in Leesburg, VA !! We have been coming here for years and it is consistently good. My family craves the pork with dry bean curd (tofu which isn’t even on their menu but they make it special for us!! I’m familiar with authentic Taiwanese cuisine and this is my entire family’s favorite dish. It is unavailable at any other Chinese restaurant, you must try it!! I strongly recommend all the stir-fried dishes. (I don’t order deep fried dishes so I cannot comment on those.

Food is not worth it. Hong Kong Restaurant In Ashburn is better !!!

Got the chicken in garlic sauce it was very tasty i really like the carrots and got the kung pao chicken which was also good!
