Custard's Last Stand - Lee's Summit

The hamburger looked like gray Bologna. The taste was not good. Not rotten... but not delicious. I threw half away. I gotta go. It made my car Reek of bad cooking oil. I had to ventilate it overnight. I'm not coming back.

Best frozen concrete chocolate malt everywhere. Love this place for 25 years... beautiful and friendly. Best French hairs and hot dogs and hamburgers.

Custards last stand is a gem. They are the only place in Lee?s Summit that can make a french fry nice and crispy not soggy and flat. The hamburgers are great the hotdogs are terrific and the custard ice cream is phenomenal. Not to mention how pleasant the staff is here.

My husband and I wanted some frozen custard on this extremely hot day and Andy?s line was too long, so we decided to give Custard?s Last Stand a try. We have lived in Lee?s Summit for about four years now and never tried it. But wow- we regret it! Rarely do I finish my custard or ice cream- but I finished my mini Cookie Monster custard before we even got home. The hot dogs we ordered were delicious, but my only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the toppings on my New York dog were just a little too heavy for my preference. But everything else we had, the fries, the custard, the popcorn- delicious! Will definitely be going here instead of the other ice cream/custard places in town. Also- very friendly service as well!

5 stars for the custard, 2 for the food. The custard beats anything I?ve had at Sheridans or Andy?s hands down. The burger was thin and bland and the fries tasted freezer burned and were really salty. I would come again just for the custard, though. The interior was really clean, but the mixture of sparse and cluttered decor on different counters gave off a ?this place is struggling? vibe.
