There's a lot of chatter about BBQ in the Kansas City metro area, but Jazzy B's rarely gets mentioned. We had the best burnt ends here—they were tender and coated with fantastic flavor. I’m a big fan of fries, and theirs are cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cinnamon seasoning adds an amazing touch, especially when dipped in the blueberry curry sauce. My husband wasn't a fan of the beans, but I couldn’t care less—ugh, beans! The garlic cheesy corn was decent. The sausage had a unique flavor that I haven't encountered before; I initially thought they made it themselves, but it was just prepared really well. The pulled pork was outstanding. Hats off to them for crafting their own delicious sauce—it’s so good that they should definitely sell it in stores. We’ll definitely return to sample more dishes. We should have tried the Jamaican coleslaw and the chicken, but we want to leave some items for our next visit since we don’t go to Lee's Summit often.
10/28/23 I found this place on maps to find a new BBQ business and they have a lot of good reviews so here I am. Stopped in for lunch and I'd have to say my review. Food. I got 3 meat 3 sides. Burnt ends, pulled pork, sausage. For the meats was dam good. Burnt ends was so soft and tender yet had the burn crust was amazing! I would say... Best iv ever had? Pulled pork was a good also. However the sausage wasn't my favorite. It almost tastes like maybe beer boiled? But it wasn't as soft as I like it. Maybe a little dry? I can't explain but wasn't terrible. Sides. I got 3. BBQ beans, fries and cheesy corn. Fries was absolutely amazing! Had a great amount of seasoning yet, had cinnamon? But with the BBQ sauce was great flavor? They was cooked perfectly, great fries. Cheesy corn wasn't for me. BBQ beans... Sorry to say, it reminded me of plain chilli? I swear it was chili beens.. They still have more meats and sides. I'm going back for sure to try the rest. Drinks.. They have a full bar and cherry coke! I'm about the cherry coke out of the fountain! Also, they have sweet tea. Many places don't. Cons.. For a BBQ restaurant, they don't have Mac and cheese. But that's ok. It was the first cold day in KCMO, I thought it was a bit cold in there. Parking: Came on a Saturday. Some of the business's was closed so parking was ok.
Loved the brisket nachos and the classic smoked burger. Austin was great with recommendations as was the owner when he recommended a local beer. Love this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
