We had a vegan takeaway for two people with Avocado Crispy Rolls, Spring Rolls, Green Curry with seitan, Cambodian Cashew Nut with tofu, rice and noodles. Food was excellent, very well prepared and cooked and really tasty with enough left over for a second day! Prices are very reasonable. Nearly all main courses have vegetarian and vegan options with seitan or tofu so there's loads of choice. Definitely recommended :
The owners of Angkor Wat are so kind and welcoming, and their food is absolutely delicious. So many vegan options on the menu to choose from, and one of the owners told me they keep all of their vegan and non-vegan ingredients separate! There's a HappyCow sticker on the front desk that he proudly pointed out to me! He also said they would love to be even more veggie-leaning or even fully veg) but they might not be able to survive as a business. An unfortunate reality in a small town, but hopefully someday there will be enough demand to make the switch :
I recently returned from a vacation near Leek and ordered delivery from Angkor Wat. The curries were really delicious, especially the Thai green curry, Kra pow, and Cambodian curry, all made with Seitan. The flavors were truly excellent. We also had enough leftovers for the next day, which was a nice bonus. I can't wait to come back next year for another meal.
This restaurant is not only run by a lovely couple, but their vegan options are top-notch and better than any other takeout places in the area. The dishes are full of flavor, with no compromise on taste. The seitan option is excellent, tender, and complements each dish perfectly. The prices are reasonable and the owners always strive to provide the best experience for their customers.
