To hear the words this is the best steak I 've ever had uttered from my wife 's mouth is one of the largest compliments you will ever hear

Stockdales has very comfortable interior with the right level of noise to be able to enjoy a conversation. The waiting staff were the right level of attentive with a great knowledge of the menu. There was a wine to suit every taste and budget. The duck egg starter was very decadent and a great portion size. We would definitely visit again.

It was a birthday meal which everyone enjoyed. The steak was really good but our party weren’t keen on the smoked taste. Service was excellent and the birthday treats were a lovely surprise.

Best steaks in town- great service and sophisticated place.

Absolutely fantastic, we have been a few times now and it never disappoints. Would highly recommend to everyone. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. Thank you for making our Anniversary special
