Red Hot World Buffet And - Leeds

What a fantastic spot to visit with a group! The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. For about £15, you can indulge in the buffet as many times as you like, choosing from a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes from around the world. Keep in mind that you do have a limited time slot, which restricts how much you can eat, but there’s plenty of time to satisfy your cravings. On the downside, as is true with many restaurants, drinks can be pricey; we spent around £14 for a bottle of wine to avoid the £4 per glass charge. Most main dishes were clearly labeled with allergy information, and the staff was extremely eager to help and offer assistance whenever there were questions.

I visited this restaurant recently while I was spending the day in Leeds. I used to enjoy dining at Cosmo, but it has shut down due to flood damage from a burst water pipe. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the Red Hot World Buffet. Although there was a decent variety of food, it lacked flavor. For example, the four cheese sauce served with the pasta tasted quite bland, almost like milk. This was the case with everything I tried.

Went here with a foodie friend a few months ago to celebrate his Birthday. It was very much as desribed and there was a vast selection of wonderful food) Great atmosphere and not badly priced either, pretty busy and this caused a bit of chaos at times when trying to get to particular sections. Would be great for kids and I will def go back, hopefully it will be less busy next time!

D 'ya know what? It was completely '5/10 one thumbs up with a small smile ' and I 'm quite happy with that. A HUGE choice of dishes with a wide variety of cultural references all served in a mahoosive canteen that seats approximately 1-2 million people. It 's loud, super busy, mega crowded and there 's no feeling of being in any way personally significant whatsoever BUT this is the Super Epic Mega Mart of buffet dining and what else would one expect? As previously mentioned I am gifted, beneath this mild mannered exterior (cough cough with 4 whole stomachs so I very contentedly munched away on plate after plate of tasty nibbles, sushi, curry, chinese, mexican and puddy puddy puddings. I drew the line at adding a roast dinner to that as it seemed an horrific thing to do to your body at a giant buffet, but those people I did see receiving slab after slab of roast beef and gravy seemed very happy with it. A surprisingly adequate £14 house red and thoroughly indecent amount of food later we hauled ourselves onto the number 50 and deep breathed all the way home. This is not a venue for romance but if you have 5 hungry friends and want to test your pancreas to breaking point then by all means dive in, you wont be disappointed :

I finally got to try the Red Hot World Buffet last night. After being told only good things by people I know who've been before, I couldn't wait to get in there and tuck in! On arrival I grabbed a drink at the bar and took a seat to wait for my workmates. I was half expecting the drinks to be particularly expensive, but they were pretty standard prices which was nice. A couple of people in our group were a little late but the staff didn't mind and were very nice about it. Again, points for that. When we headed downstairs to be seated we walked through the plane interior they've put in, which to be honest I find a little odd at first but then decided I liked after a couple of drinks! The place is pretty well decorated and all seems very clean. So now the most important part was the food any good? I'm happy to say that it was worth the wait (mostly anyway ! Since I've not been before I tried to have a bit of everything, and almost did. I missed out on Italian and English (really couldn't be bothered with that! and deserts, but tried pretty much everything on offer from the rest. There were a few dishes that were actually probably the best quality of that particular dish anywhere the chicken in black bean sauce was particularly excellent! However they weren't all great. The Mexican was very disappointing I'm a big fan of mexican food and there was barely anything on offer there. Also I was a little disappointed by the range of curries they only had one or two... I have to say I did hold back a little on cramming as much into my face as possible, although eating slowly and chatting a lot filled me up quite well so I certainly had my fair share! Oh and the staff were very good. They took the plates away quickly, but didn't hover and take them before we were finished, and were always pleasant and willing to bring us more drinks. They even brought out a cake and had a sing when we asked if they could for someone's birthday! Overall, definitely a place to try at least once. Considering the range of food on offer the quality was surprisingly good. I certainly have to go back at some point to eat until I bleed!
