Friday evening dinner in la besi restaurant near the university leeds main campus 1) environment (0.75/1) a small and cozy restaurant that probably hosts up to 40 people at a time. but they are very neatly designed and the whole feeling is homelike and that of comfort 2) food (0.75/1) we were 2 of us and we had their pizza garlic bread for appetizers that was different from what I am used to, but their tomato and garlic base sauce was full of arom! next we had a plate of penne al pollo (penne pasta with huh) in a white sauce with mushrooms. the part was decent and the taste was also good. we had two desserts: torta selva nera or a frozen dessert with pie sponge...read more

We sat here last night for my dad's birthday, we all really enjoyed our eating and the Limoncello shot at the end was a bonus: had the fried mozarella wrapped in parma ham for starters that I had not tried before and would highly recommend. great that they have the opportunity to bring their own drink, beautiful relaxed atmosphere and delicious food at a reasonable price. grazie!

Came here with friends for birthday. great eating and atmosphere with beautiful staff. I could not recommend it very much.
