Today I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Kasa Rosa. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the menu was very good. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. I definitely plan to return soon.
After hearing many positives reviews for the place we booked a table. When booking we mentioned we had two children. They don 't have a childrens menu but we were told 'we are not in the habit of ripping of children and we can adapt accordingly '. We were charged £18 for 2 small 8 inch pizzas . What a joke. Daylight robbery and we won 't be returning. Avoid if u have kids. If u think its reasonable to charge £9 for a tiny pizza for a 6 year old you really are deluded
This restaurant is quite local and we drove it hundreds of times past, but never really into. I'm not sure why we like to go in Italian restaurants, but I guess it never looked very exciting from the outside. After seeing so many great reviews, we decided on Saturday for lunch and were very excited about it, as we did not eat much during the pandemic. the inner is certainly nothing special and first impressions were that it seemed a little gloomy. it was not much light though I think some of the blinds were closed to stop the sun that blinded them. the tables are modest and probably have seen better days and the wooden chairs with very straight back were some of the most unpleasant chairs in which I sat very long. not sure whether that is to stop them from superimposing their welcome, but I did not feel relaxed at all and the tables for 2 are tiny, so it felt as if everything was falling over the edge in every moment. we were greeted and sitting fast as it was very quiet, but it was quite busy shortly after we arrived and it was clear that there was a lot of regular diners familiar with the owners/balls. our eating came fast and was hot, but we had mixed feelings about the taste and it's fair to say that my man enjoyed it a little more than me. the garnels were good, the garlic mushrooms were very insufficient and watery and the garlic bread with tomato was quite terrible, as it was covered with burned garlic that remained unpleasant after the taste. the lamb was good, but the calzone was chewing and a little bland. from a service perspective it seemed to be 2 cooks and 1 bad waitress that ran around and fought to keep up. I'm not sure if they have only one waitress in the rule, but I think a second person was required to help serve and then bill, etc., to make sure that a decent level of customer service was maintained. we found it a little strange that when my man was offered with mint sauce to go with his lamb, a glass colmans was simply brought along and left on the table without lid and just a bit mint was down. later we saw this same glass on the side of the writing near the until, still without lid on and it seemed a little unhygienic and strange. if it is approx. 20 pay for a lamb main course, maybe make some mint in a small dish and bring it to the table? After our meal we asked about the bill, but when the waitress was so busy, we went to the main desk to get her and pay. it was also a little surprising that the bills were made with a pad and pencil, which looked up prices on the menu and then added with a calculator, this could be described as quint, but also very inefficient. Overall, I think that this is a decent place, and since the locals regularly return, it must have something to offer that we did not necessarily see this first visit. I personally am not in a hurry to go back, but my man has cost most food and would probably like to go back. to improve (in my opinion).........the menu prices are at the higher end, but the food quality, the comfort of the tables/chairs and the general customer service do not seem to be aligned to the paid price. so, some bits I would be as 2 stars, some as 3 and some as 4 but I would visit a 3 stars average rating based on this one.
While we visited the opposite of Scotland to visit a family event, we were looking for an evening meal for four of us in the evening before returning home, we came over kasa pink in the internet. because the other couples live in Spanish and one is vegetarian sounded it right. the restaurant was closed when I had left a table reserved, so a message. alan called me back what was appreciated and confirmed a reservation. the restaurant is a warm and comfortable place, next to an open kitchen. friendly server welcomed us and sat us immediately. the menu offers a large selection of dresses from tapa, Mediterranean influenced appetizers, pasta dishes, pizzas, fish and meat-based special mains with each selection. something for all really, including those with vegetarian or vegan preferences. we all enjoyed various wonderful appetizers and mostly with everyone who is judged as tasty and the portions are generous. perfect pasta dishes, excellent hake dishes, fresh accompanying options, only check the menu, it delivers what it promises. service, like reception, was friendly and efficient. alan took time to leave the kitchen to check that we enjoyed the meal, as we noticed that he also interacted with other customers. we are not local or regular so it has been estimated. beautiful cherry, dry humor, exactly what we like. families that are located in the opposite have been recommended to place kasa pink on their eating goals. excellent varied menu, delicious food, really friendly, informative but efficient service, relaxed ambiente combined to make our evening quite perfect. thanks alan and team.
