Backroads Bbq - Lebanon

This place was amazing, and it's a shame it's so far from fort wayne. We stopped here after going to Turkey Run State Park. The food was so good, I had their pulled pork sandwich with southern style coleslaw. The three BBQ places in fort wayne have nothing on this place. The staff here was great, food was phenomenal, bathrooms and restaurant clean. I highly recommend this place!

Had the BBQ Ribs, they were so so... A bit mushy instead of tender, the flavor had a distinct vinegar flavor to it which I'm not a big fan of. The **** Mary however was great!

Wow! What a wonderful treat. We stopped about 20 minutes before closing on a Sunday and were welcomed in warmly. The hostess/waitress answered all my questions and directed me to the 3 meat platter. I asked if it was enough for 2 people and she said yes and she was right. We took everything to go. It was out in less than 10 minutes and everything was well packed and stayed warm. It was so delicious we wrote our order down for next time we are traveling through. The smoked turkey was juicy and delicious with true smoke flavor. The rib tips looked more like country style ribs, but they were tender and juicy. The brisket was sliced thicker than I am used to, but reminded me of beef jerky in a good way. Smoky and toothsome. Definitely the chewiest meat we had, so if you like tender go with the rib tips or chicken. The potato salad was saucy and yummy. They threw in 4 biscuits and apple butter. Heated up in the microwave at our hotel they tasted like apple pie. After a long day of traveling this was so much better than I expected that I could have cried. Definitely sealed the deal that this is our stop on future road trips! Celebrated my birthday here tonight. Did not disappoint! Great food and great service! Definite southern vibe that makes you feel right at home. And our waiter could not have been more attentive. Would go again in a heartbeat.Revisited tonight for a break from a long week of work. Just the break I needed.Kid-friendliness: Our 3 year old felt like a true VIP here.

Food was still not delivered after waiting two hours and driver didn't answer when we tried to call. Ended up calling the restaraunt and they remade our food fresh and let us pick it up. They also said they're dropping Grubhub because of how bad they have been as of late.
