Ten Penny Restaurant Bar - Leavenworth

Shelby Was our server, very personable and an excellent server. For at least the last 50 years of my life, I judge Resturant at first by their Reuben sandwich. It was really hard to make up my mind. The menu was so diverse and it all looked so good. My wife got a sliced turkey Reuben and I got a corn beef Reuben. I will have to say it was the very best Ruben I have ever had excellent side salad and homemade potato chips with ranch dip. We did get stuffed portobello mushrooms for an appetizer but halfway through what I thought was our lunch, we were full. That’s OK I get to eat the rest of my Reuben tonight for dinner. We will definitely make the drive from Gladstone to Leavenworth 30 minutes. Ate there a week later I had a tenderloin which was very good. My wife had a hamburger that I don’t know if anybody could even touch. It was fabulous and about 4 inches tall bacon, lettuce, tomato onion great onion rings. The cheeseburger definitely gets the prize that day.

Fun place. Beef was tender. Mash potatoes excellent. Nice choice of apps.

Great place. Service was quick considering how busy it was. Food was delicious and the bartender was super friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back.

Love this place. I chose not to take pictures , cause there is a lot on ten penny site. Everything I hoped for visiting this place was what I imagined it would be ,, great local home feel. The food was great. Hope for you reading this that you get great vibes when you visit

Was there for a family luncheon. Alex was a great server and the food was fantastic. Great menu with lots of character and charm
