La Javelina - Leavenworth

Stopped by with a group including kids. The food was delicious and service was friendly. They also had music playing at the perfect volume which still allowed us to socialize without having to raise our voices.

The kolaches are great and the coffee was pretty good. If you stop definitely try the blueberry, spicy pork, and the chili rellano kolaches. They are 5 star. The gingerbread whoopee pie is good with a strong ginger flavor. There is parking in front and seating inside as well as out. They have a public restroom.

We had breakfast there while staying in Leavenworth. Very pleasantly surprised how great their breakfast is! If you like spicy foods definitely asking for the special hot sauce made in house.

Great experience at La Javelins. Veggie/vegan options which are very balanced and delicious. Space for the dogs to watch us enjoy our unique cocktails. Another great member of the Leavenworth restaurant scene.

After some so-so bratwurst and sad schweinshaxe, I'm so glad to find this hidden gem that serves up high quality, original tacos and baked goods by people who obviously care a lot about the food they put out. This restaurant should be in New York or San Francisco, no joke. We ended up coming here 3 times lol. Stuff I will absolutely return for: the savory bread pudding with collard greens, herb cornbread ????, chicken kolache, apple strudel and apple pecan cake (yes we had to try them all ???? . For a cozy winter drink, try their canela mocha, it's top notch. I'm sad I didn't have time to try their tacos and breakfast dishes (they sound amazing from other reviews , I guess that means we'll have to come back to Leavenworth soon!
