Tj's Sports Bar and Grill - Leamington

From the outside one would think it might be a mistake to try this place kind of a hidden little place- but looks can be deceiving. We wanted to have local Yellow Perch and soon found this is the place to go! The perch...were perfectly breaded and served hot out of the fryer. Fries were the same- hot freshly cooked. The owner even catches the perch they serve! The decor does leave a bit to be desired for sure, and I would like to have a draft beer but we came for the perch and they have great perch for sure.

Love the perch dinner but since Sep until now Feb there fish are really really small. Used to be a nice size but now more batter than fish. Will phone before going next time when fishing season is up and running.

Very cozy atmosphere, and polite staff, food was extraordinary and prices were fair, i would recommend this place to anyone who's passing through or simply passing by

Outstanding across the board: fresh-cooked pasta, cream of broccoli soup to die for, perch cooked to perfection, warm and friendly atmosphere with the enjoyment of authentic Italian table service.

Daily fresh catch of perch (yes, for Lake Erie...daily!! .succulent, sweet, tender, cooked to perfection....try the all you can eat on Fridays.....quaint little Italian restaurant....homemade Sicilian cannoli....homemade pasta sauce, you name it they have it...they also offer all you can eat pasta (call to check...which night Very very pleasant experience and can tell you that you will not walk away hungry. If there is another word to describe the hospitality it's family You will meet Nonna Anna and Nonno Joe ready to treat you like family too! Share some laughs with Nella, and Alfie over some espresso and cappuccinos....or if you prefer,wine....The menu offers something for everyone. My kids love to eat there, because it's a family filled experience. Sad to say, but now that the best kept secret is out, everyone will want to eat there!! Remember, if Italians eat at an Italian restaurant, then you know it's gotta be good ... Tutti a tavola a mangiare! .....
