Chuck's Roadhouse - Leamington

Service was good however, the food was not. Ordered the cedar plank salmon dinner which was a very small piece of salmon on a cedar plank (about 2.5" x 6" think on both ends and about 2" thick in the middle), with a handful of fries at best and less than a 1/4 cup of baked beans. First of all they will not substitute the baked beans for anything else you either take them or leave them and I am not a fan of baked beans and do not think they really go well with salmon. The salmon arrived and the first bite was good. The second piece I cut I thought it looked a bit raw but ate it. The third piece I stuck my finger in the salmon and it was cold and raw. Called over the waitress who could not apologize enough and she returned it to the kitchen to have recooked. It came back out approximately 10 minutes later. Again first few bites were cooked and centre of salmon cold and raw. Decided to eat other half since it was thinner. The waitress came back over to ask how it was and I told her it was still raw in the middle. She said she would say something to the kitchen. I am a small eater so this dinner barely satisfied me. If you are hungry or are a larger eater I would suggest you order an appetizer. Most likely will not go back.

Tried Chuck's Roadhouse again in Leamington. Last couple of times were ok. This time they were terrible again. The décor is showing its age... all furniture is banged up looking.... chunks missing out of tables, etc. The waitress was slow and un-attentive.Viewing other customers waiting forever for their food we were getting worried. After about half an hour...we asked our server for more refreshments and if there was an issue. She said they were slow tonight...yet the restaurant was maybe 20-25% full.Food came out 40 minutes after ordering.... and was luke warm at best. My fish and chips were for sure double dipped in the oil. Dark, greasy and disgusting. Chicken strips were cold, hamburger ordered was luke warm, and salmon was the only thing that looked good. We refused the food, got up and left. First time the server apologized. No one from management approached us. Terrible experience.Apparently they aren't interested in staying open.

We have visited before.... this place is hit and miss, however, this time was a total miss.Waitress was unattentive and unprofessional. Spotted her sitting and leaning on tables when taking other customer orders. It took over 40 minutes for our order to arrive. In that time, the waitress did not stop once to check on us, give us a refill, tell us what the issues was... nothing. I had to stop her...ask for refills for my family of four. She then stated the kitchen was slow tonight but the food was coming. The restaurant was maybe at most a quarter full... The food finally came out... three out of the four meals were cold. Just terrible.We called the waitress over and advised her that we had to wait this long for cold food? She apologized and said she would warm them up. Really, warm them up...We got up and told her she could keep the meals as we were leaving. Just a terrible experience.... additionally Chucks is showing its age.... chunks missing out of tables and furniture.... place starting to look really banged up.Chuck's won't be seeing us for a long time if ever again.

Great food for a veryyy cheap price. Steak and chicken was my favorite! Highly recommend if you are heading up that way. Fast service, friendly staff, great atmosphere.

Ordered the ribeye which comes with beans and another side of your choice. I didn't want beans, but they wouldn't substitute for anything else. So, basically, you get cheated out of a side item. Waitress was friendly, but not very attentive. Was never asked if we needed drink refills. We won't be returning.
