la Boheme - Le Mans

We decided to dinate without a booking. we liked the view of the menu and were not disappointed. we had only two courses, because we were full. everything was delicious and beautifully presented. happy to recommend.

Would have been 5 stars, but totally ignored the behavior of the female waitress or needs all the time when we left there after leaving our table I was pushed by her without apology, each other was great and attentive our total night. would have been a catastrophe only for the other workers we travel and eat throughout Europe and never treated like this dr. irma vitoriano

The service was terrible, not that they did not visit us, they were so rude. we ordered weeping, it was opened and thrown into the table. it went on in this bucket. the steak of €28, how would you like to cook it medium plus...please no, it is either rare, medium or well made, so it came burned. chips with everything they were so terrible. you are not here

We have lived and worked in France, speak French fluently and have visited hundreds of restaurants over 40 years. This was our worst experience because it seemed deliberate. Expressionless waiter took order for pre dinner drinks, wine and food. Wine came in seconds, drinks after...three requests during meal, three ordered two delivered, waiter claimed we hadn't ordered another. After average main course, table not cleared and menu not given. After about 20 minutes we had to ask three times for the bill. Eventually went to counter, where waiter placed card in machine and left to talk to friends! Returned after 4-5 minutes, laughing and saying excuse me' in English despite entire transaction being in French. Our impression was that this was a deliberate slight as other customers who seemed local were not treated in this way.

We chose this as the menu de jour 3 courses plus a drink was only 21 € which in a big town like Le Mans is very reasonable and there was several choices on each course Carafe of rose was drinkable and the service was...sometimes good and aometimes slow It is a big restaurant serving well over 100 covers at a time in three areas withou enough staff to have brilliant service We were not in a rush so slower service was a pleseant change not a place to eat if you are in a rush What I would say is that the portion sizes are large so you need a big appetite We would go back again as the quality/price/quantity mix is good
