Bomba's Bbq - Lawton

Two years ago, we had this restaurant cater an event and the smoked wings and pulled pork were delicious! The wings were such a hit that we ordered them again for my Dad's 94th birthday party. However, this time the wings were dry and lacking any smoked flavor. We spent $200 on them and were quite disappointed. It seems like they may have stretched themselves too thin with catering events, causing a decline in quality.

The food is good at this restaurant, but they have irregular opening hours- usually only open about a week out of the month. The customer service is lacking, so I'm not sure if I would recommend it.

I recently visited this restaurant during my lunch on August 31st, 2020 and went out of my way to sit in the drive-thru. Unfortunately, I waited for 10 minutes and no one came to the window to take my order. I've heard the food is good, but it's difficult to experience it when no one is there to serve you.

I typically consider this restaurant to have the second best BBQ in the area, with everything else being good. However, this time the BBQ tasted strongly of propane and was burnt. It was so bad that it tasted like dog food in the end. Overall, it was a shameful waste of money.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent order from this restaurant. I can't believe I spent $200 on 100 tiny wings that were hardly worth eating.
