This restaurant offers outstanding value for the price. The staff is exceptional, and the General Manager, Mrs. Donna, goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have the best experience possible. This level of personal attention is a rare find these days. Thank you, Mrs. Donna, and thanks to the entire team at HIE. We will definitely be back. Rooms: 5/5

After returning from a meeting later on, I was in a hurry to use the restroom and discovered that housekeeping had once again covered the grab bars with towels. I ended up slipping and fell while trying to sit down, hitting my head on the floor and injuring my back. I am absolutely furious about this situation. I took all the towels to the front desk to express my frustration. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Why do hotels assume that dog owners are unclean? We pay the same rates and often even more for the pet fee, and we're just as discerning when it comes to reviews! Unfortunately, the room was outdated, with stains all over the carpet, and the hotel had a lingering smoke odor. On a positive note, the bed was clean, the morning staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, I would rate the rooms 2 out of 5.

We absolutely LOVED our much extended work stay here! We were here for almost 2 months and Mrs. Dawna, in management was so attentive, kind and always giving her 110% into her job to make sure happiness prevails daily and it shows so much! The hotel was always clean, our room stocked, and respected when we had signs Do Not Disturb out. The necessities were always stocked where needed throughout the entire hotel and pool area and any and all questions were responded to and attended to as quickly as possible and due to a better convenience for us she switched us rooms halfway through our stay! The beds were clean and comfortable in both rooms we stayed in with WiFi free easily accessible. Which is important for us as for we travel with a lot of needed technology for our jobs. Not to mention a breakfast we could always look forward to and eat in if we didn’t want to go out. We will always be returning here for work trips and future Lawrence stays! It was sad leaving after being treated as family during our stay.

This hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the service was exceptionally nice. I was greeted with smiles at the front desk anytime I passed. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast.I was able to bring my two dogs for a fee, but this hotel is dog friendly as well.Noteworthy details: There is a bike path next to the hotel, which allows guests to walk their dogs or walk to other locations in town.
