El Taco Guapo - Lawrence

Ordered a vegetable quesadilla, was saggy uncooked, the cheese was not even melted. I could had made this at home for half the price and not have to deal with your poorly trained employee. The cashier was rude over the phone, they couldn't find my order when I got there. Simply not worth it

The food is tasty, though I think it might have been slightly overcooked. There was also a great atmosphere with a lively crowd.

We hosted an event for the teachers at our school with El Taco Guapo, and they were absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing, and we received compliments all day long. The portions were also very generous. I highly recommend this place for authentic and delicious cuisine!

Very good Central American food. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Massachusetts in my experience with a variety of conventional Mexican offerings as well as offerings from Guatemala and the other smaller Central American countries. Only issue is good luck ordering here if you don't speak Spanish. I know enough Spanish to place a simple order, but I recommended this place to a friend who said he called and they just hung up on him when he spoke in English. I know its Lawrence but go to any ethnic restaurant in Lowell there will be at least one person there who speaks enough English to take an order.

My brother ordered the Enchiladas, and the server tried to convince him to choose something else instead. When he asked if he could stick with his order, she responded dismissively, saying, "You do it?" We had only been at the restaurant for about 5 minutes and hadn't even finished placing our order. My brother is a mechanic who had just come from work and was hungry, so perhaps she assumed we were less fortunate. Despite her attitude, we remained friendly throughout our visit. We paid for our meal in full, including a tip that she did not deserve. If there were a way to give this place half a star, I would certainly consider it.
