People upset about the 15% gratuity clearly do not understand what it's like as a barista. I see the auto-gratuity as a chance to impress me and I have been impressed EVERY time I visit alchemy. The freshness and quality of their products are top notch. I come here when I don't want a microwaved breakfast sandwich from Starbucks or a drink that tastes like sugar syrup. Apparently people in Lawrence need a reminder- TIP YOUR BARISTAS!!!

We ordered two lattes with Carmel and oat milk.Coffee taste very bitter and there is no flavor of coffee. Oat milk taste like water. Overall for the price not worth it at all.

I have wanted to venture to Alchemy for quite some time. Being in KC we have a few spots that feature their pastries and I just had to come straight to the source. This is a great spot, drive thru only but fast and wonderful. There is truly a breakfast item for everyone; sweet, savory, gluten free. They offer milk subs and of course your favorite coffee beverage. Their coffee is more on the fruity side. I believe my coffee roaster pal says this is New Age coffee. I like dark robust coffee on a typical day but this hit the spot and was smooth. A great perk they have at this location is that you use Square Pay at the speaker when you order. That way you can just grab and go. However they do charge a15% tip. But hey, you should be tipping that anyway!
