Spires - Lawndale

It was my first time here. The food was really good, and the service was friendly. Parking: Few parking spaces.

Breakfast this morning was better than I expected, but still could have been better. There are a few locations all around Los Angeles and I would not classify them as a diner, more as a fast service American restaurant. The best part of the meal was the pricing because it is very fair. There is plenty of seating inside, both booth and counter and parking is very easy and free because it’s attached to a shopping center. Service was pretty quick for me although it did take quite a while for me to be able to place my food order. I was immediately seated right when I entered and they brought my drinks immediately after being seated. I did have to wait about 10 minutes to place the order, but when the food came it was better than I was expecting. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and even though the hollandaise was a bit watery in my opinion the ham on the bottom was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I got side of avocado and it was not the freshest avocado but I still ate it. Overall a pretty nice experience although does not really give me the restaurant kind of feel. I would recommend it if you are in the area. Parking: large free parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs or incline to enter/exit

Old school breakfast and lunch spot! Fairly quiet atmosphere, parking is a bit rough at busy times, food is pretty good, and on level with IHOP, Denny's, and Norm's. Nothing exceptional, but definitely appropriate for cost and type of restaurant AND better value than the above mentioned competitors. Definitely good service, wait staff is on top of things! Constantly walking past to check for refills and make sure everything is going well with your experience. The only thing I would say about the atmosphere is that it's simply run down, they would need to do a complete remodel to change that, but it's clean! Parking: At busy times of days you are really going to be fighting for a spot to park, they have about five designated parking spaces and everything else is shared amongst the rest of the businesses in the strip mall. Street parking would be pretty scary with the speed limit on the roads and the type of traffic present.

I don’t suggest the take-out here, they will eliminate items from your order even if they charged you for it. My first an last time here for sure, I work hard to earn my money.

What is happening to this place? The last three times I ordered crispy chicken salad it was awful. I used to love that item. Now it is drowning in salad dressing and I didn't get the crispy chicken. The chicken was too hard to chew. Very disappointed with my order (take out).
