In fact, booking is advisable because it is very popular. The place is obviously in the countryside and at the foot of the Picentine mountains, not a bad landscape. It is not a real farm where what you eat must be home-grown. I didn't see any vegetable gardens... there were some domestic animals, but they were closed in a dilapidated stable (I doubt that the structure is up to standard . Regarding the dishes prepared, some were not done well...for example, the fresh pasta with ragù...not drained well...it was soupy...the pickled courgettes in the starter had a hard rind... in short, as usual, quantity comes at the expense of quality. But some of the dishes eaten were really good... I mention the ragù with innard rolls (true traditional cuisine stuff! , the pan-fried aubergines, the taralli with jam, the bark with thalli and courgette flowers... the rest in the average.
Unquestionably high quality! For €30, together with plenty of water and wine, we had an appetizer with 14 elements, a double first course of fusilli and ravioli with an amazing Chianina ragù, a second surprise first course which, however, had no history after the first . We then talk about the three second courses of stewed meat, roast beef and roasted meat (this one is a little tough, perhaps a question of maturation), pepper tarallucci with sheep's cheese and pepper jam, seasonal fruit, grandmother's cake, coffee and bitters. It was the *Chianina menu* animal raised on site directly by the owners. Go there if you are predisposed to eating a lot and you will not be disappointed.
This restaurant is a farm with a lot of animals. Owners cook products fron their field. Grilled pumpkin, ham, cheese and homemade pasta are very good. Also meat is very good, cooked on barbecue or with tomato sauce. There is a big garden where children may play.
I go there once a year, when i visit saint Gerard sanctuary with my family. Starters are very good. I don't like his homemade pasta, but rice and soup are very good. Meat dishes are made with animals from their farm. There is a garden, nice even in winter.
