Hubby and I did a dinner voucher deal (11/08), and we have to say, that in the past 5yrs of voucher deals experience, it's probably one of the best meals we've ever had,From the moment we walked in the door, the warm welcome coupled with the waiter's enthusiasm and in depth knowledge of the menu, was nothing short of OUTSTANDING!!!Hubby ordered the Beef Cheek Rendang, and I had the Chicken Massaman, both dishes were AMAZING!!!, although the serving size of each dish was a little small. We'll definitely be going back to have breakfast and lunch.A VERY QUAINT haunt in LAVO!!!

Came here for dinner with friends. Wanted to try something new, so glad we did! Loved it! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. Highly recommend the Laksa! Will definitely be going back!

Went for breakfast sunday morning which had a menu very different to traditional fare, included japanese and malay dishes which we opted for. Really tasty food and reasonably priced. Ingredients including orange juice were fresh. The layout has a kids play area incorporated which if you don't like kids could be a disadvantage as it is noisy. Great that in such a small eatery they consider young families however not the place for a romantic dinner. Make no mistake the food is worth the sufferance of any noise and would definitely recommend.

Met son and family on their way back to Canberra from Geelong. Ideal pull-off from the highway for a comfort and coffee stop. The egg & bacon muffin with coffee were delish. Very busy with very few tables spare.

We stopped for lunch not knowing the area and we are so glad we did. I had the beef masamam and my husband had a chicken rendang. These cooks know what they are doing and there not attaching the "asian fusion" catchphrase to their name for no reason. Flavours were amazing and just perfectly cooked. The staff were lovely, attentive and quick to serve. As for the cakes. They are brought in from a patisserie not baked on site but they are french standard. We haven't had a cake this good since our last trip to France. We will be back when we are next in the area, for the cakes alone (although I am hanging to try the Japanese pancakes as they looked amazing).
