Patisserie Al Sham - Laval

The staff is very welcoming, provides excellent service, and offers top-notch Syrian sweets. It's clear they are passionate about their work and not just in it for the money.

My mother and sister took me to this restaurant because they love the Arab terrace. I tried two cookies that brought back childhood memories for me. I especially enjoyed the rub the white biscuits, which had a buttery texture with Arabic flavors. The maamol cookies were filled with pistachios and walnuts, topped with powdered sugar. The restaurant has a few tables inside and accepts international credit cards.

I highly recommend trying their barazik and knefe at this restaurant. The knefe is perfectly balanced, not too cheesy or sweet with syrup. Be sure to also try their coconut cookies. Delicious!
