Alpenblick - Lauterbrunnen

Excellent meal. Kind. Family run restaurant. The alpine sausage with cheese and herbs was home made and delightful Home made beef soup was also excellent. Great service and food

We spend our summers in Murren every year and it's our family's tradition that our first night in town we always eat at Alpenblick. The people are wonderful, the food is always great and we love the homey laidback atmosphere. The mountain burger is great. The specials are always good. And when we've had a long day of hiking and don't feel like cooking in our chalet, we stop by to get their take-out chicken and fries. The curry mayo is delicious with it!

We enjoyed our dining experience so much that we had dinner here twice. The fried chicken, pork belly, homemade sausage, and carrot ginger soup were all wonderful. The homemade sausage is some of the best sausage I've tasted in all of Europe. The carrot ginger soup is out of this world great! Our party of four all ordered it both nights. The restaurant also had a good understanding of celiac gluten free requirements for my partner. Good service and reasonably priced, including the local wine by the glass or 1 2 liter carafe.

We ate two dinners here and enjoyed the wonderful mountain views from the window. Tasty, flavoursome soups, nice rosti and good traditional Swiss food, but the exotic veg curry with pankakes of mashed potato was excellent too. Everything was home made and freshly cooked. Puddings were a bit limited as just ice cream but other than that, would highly recommend for a low key freshly cooked tasty dinner with views in murren.

We enjoyed our tasty breakfast here. There were hot boiled eggs, lovely cut fresh fruit, various cheeses and meats, with bread and cold cereal choices.and flavored yogurt. It was a wonderful variety to have a hearty breakfast. The service was great.
