Sidewalk Café - Lausanne

Very disappointing when we got to the cafe the staff said the food was not there but up the road after a bit of searching without success we tried again at the Sidewalk Cafe we were directed to the Broadway Ave next door.. Once there we were given a completely different and more expensive menu from the online one when queried we were given a different one! I selected a mixed grill. When it came I could discern a lamb chop but I would struggle to identify the other tiny pieces of meat. Disappointing to have to say avoid either the Sidewalk Cafe or Broadway Ave

Perfect location, near to every attraction of the city. Super Caffe and burgers. Would recommend to everyone.

We had a great night here, food was great, we all ordered steaks and they were all excellent, with home made french fries, and a great atmosphere. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Visited the Sidewalk Cafe on a Friday night. The staff was very welcoming and friendly throughout the evening. We ordered both salads as starters and they tasted very good. For my main course I ordered the beef and it was also very good. Overall a great evening!

The sidewalk café has a cool interior, often animated with live bands or open-mics. You can go to have a casual good burger with friends, or opt for the various unlimited dishes such as the tartare. If you take the tartare, be sure to start of with one course of salmon tartare, and then follow up with beef to enjoy everything they offer. Ofcourse they also serve great beers of all kinds.
