Bottle Brothers - Lausanne

We booked a table for 6 on Saturday night at 8pm for cocktails. We were then told we could not have the table if we were not going to eat dinner. We understood and had our drinks at the bar...the 6 of us. The service was not great, we were treated like nuisances, told not to take up too much space, constantly pushed out the way. Around 9:30pm with a few tables open, and the dinner rush over we asked whether we could sit at a table, even mentioned we would order snack platters and were once again denied. At this time the bar staff had some friends walk in, sit at a table and proceed to order only beers. We then concluded that we were not welcome there. This is what happens when owners don't invest in mature, experienced, competent staff. We went off to The Hill Lausanne on rue du Bourg which was fantastic. We were welcomed warmly, given a table, ordered a bunch of platters and cocktails and stayed till we had to leave. Evening started off badly but had a fairy tale ending. Service matters.

I know these are hard times but what’s with the attitude ? Had to wait 20 min to get a beer after asking 3 times. Only to be asked to leave !!

This restaurant had a great vibe. It was full of young people sitting inside and outside having a great time. Our server was very friendly and translated the menu for us. All the food tasted great, specially the cheesecake! It seemed expensive though. A very small pour of Merlu wine was $17!

Nice to sit on the terrace in the summer since there is no traffic. Nice staff and pretty helpful. The food is mostly tapas: you need at least 3 per person to have enough as a meal. The price range of tapas is 8-24 and when we were there the cheapest ones were unavailable... which made it we paid 60 CHF per person ! Pretty expensive for finger food ! Not bad but you can spend you money in a much better way!

Tolle regionale und saisonale, wöchentlich wechselnde Gerichte. Dies in einer coole Tapas Variante. Kleine aber gerade desshalb um so feinere Karte.Trotz ausgebuchtem Restaurant fand man für uns nich eine Ecke. Sehr freundliches personal. Unsere Menus schmeckten ausserordentlich gut.Auch der Preis war völlig in Ordnung.Einziger Wehrmutstropfen. Als wir zahlen wollten, dauerte dies sehr sehr lange.
