Village Cup - Laurens

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The management is in dire need of improvement, and it seemed like the owners were struggling with alcohol issues. Although it’s a BYOB establishment, they helped themselves to drinks from our bottles while working! One of the staff, Dean, was particularly out of control and quite drunk during service. Additionally, I couldn’t help but notice that most of the staff were young, with perhaps just one or two women in the mix. I wonder if anyone else has observed this or if they simply overlooked it. There was also a pair of gay men who came in with a young employee. It left me feeling quite uncomfortable.

Hello! I'd like to mention that The Village Cup has moved from its previous address at 917 West to a brand new location at 108 South Public Square, Laurens, SC 29360.

This is a fantastic coffee house and eatery. Dean and Fred are incredibly gracious hosts, serving generous portions of delicious food and coffee drinks. In an area of South Carolina where there is an abundance of uninspired local cuisine and overwhelming fast food chains, The Village Cup truly stands out!
