Giovanni's Pizza - Laurelville

My family loves this place. Excellent pizza. Yes you pay a little more than zanzis or Pizza hut but the quality can't be beat. I feel terrible for the owner, his business has suffered because of reviews that have nothing to do with him. We will continue to eat here.

This place is ridiculously over priced for being a small town pizza place. Called to order a 2 topping larg pizza with bacon being one of the toppings. They are charging and additional $3.50 to have bacon put on your pizza. I can buy a whole pound of bacon for that at the store why the hell would I pay 3.50 for a piece of it on my pizza. Needless to say. I did NOT order from them.

I had ordered a dinner at 815ish on Wed night as soon as I pulled up a man turned the sign to closed. I was confused about the sign, so I decided to go in cause there was people in there. Door said close at 9. I enter and this man looks at me sounding very rude and says to me,Can you read? I then said excuse me. He then says in a smartass voice Can u read, I responded , yes I can read. Smartass back, I could tell he didn't like my tone when I responded. So then he says the door says closed, I said I'm picking up an order, thank you. I sit down he raises his voice to his kids, tells them if they don't sit down he will make them sit in the hot car. So they go outside, my food comes up. I ask the two ladies did I order too late, I said is 830 the cut off for the night, they say yes and that's fine. But what I don't get is why the two ladies working didn't speak up and say something to the rude man. And didn't apologise for the way he was speaking to me. I've made my last trip in there,my husband told me I should have told her to keep her food and walked out. And if he was in the truck that the man would have had something said to him and not liked it. I can tell ya it wouldn't have been good at all. They lost our business for good as far as I see it, no one deserves that kinda disrespect from any one. How any woman can live with a man like that is beyond me, I feel bad for the children and there future.
