Rupert Hound - Launceston

Great dining room. We have traveled around Tasmania now and this is the best seafood we had. We were so scattered and scattered foods. Finally, fresh delicious seafood as it should be. You pay for what you get, but we also paid great prices and not necessarily value for money. Would recommend.

Very enjoyed our experience. Our waitress Chantel was exceptional! She was very attentive, and her service was great. The seafood plate was super, beautiful fresh seafood. The cheerful garlic bread was amazing. Ordered a bottle of Derwent wine for only $42! Dessert was not so good I think we ordered a milk and gluten-free brownie by chance (our guilt). Would try something else next time.

Friendly and patient services. Amazing Entrees and fantastic main thing. I'm not a fish, but I loved her blue eyes Trevalla. Our first night in Launceston and glad we came here for dinner.

A cold winter day had us looking for a warm place for lunch and we found Rupert Hound. R H is located in the Launceston Seaport complex. The complex has parking spaces. Tables well spaced and not a loud environment, even if busy table talk is easy. Meals were extremely fast and very good value for money, especially at surrounding restaurants. attentive service and beautiful atmosphere. Would highly recommend. We had a warm lamb Greek salad $24 and a Margarita pizza $17.

Such a wonderful place. Service was very pleasant and quick(but not trying to hassle you out the door) food was well worth it. The cocktails were very nice. Thank you for such a lovely evening.
