The good is that the cash was open during public holidays without public payment (depending on self-service). eating is appropriate and in large part. I ordered a lamb dish and a steak lamb was well cooked and tasteful. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my steak. it is overcooked- I asked for medium rare, but almost well done, plus it is burned. chips are extra thick here, they are very fillable.
The dinner was delicious. it had everything you need for a great dinner. I could have every night for a week. they also take care of their lost property very well!
A quiet drink in the afternoon? a lilparty on the dance floor with launceston's best? a business dinner. this place is versatile. I'm here to work on my laptop and it was quiet and I was uninterrupted. had a good martini here. I wouldn't come here at night because I might run into a few I don't want to see. but they are welcome, I just can't talk to the night experience in alchemy because I haven't been in the night.
Alchemy Bar is a beauty on George St. The warmth hits you as you walk in not just because of the heating location! The staff are super friendly, accommodating and willing to please. My partner and I both had steaks Scotch Fillet Porterhouse. Great value at $30 each including sides. Perfectly cooked streaks to our order. Drinks amazing. The bar makes a mean Old Fashioned. Great wine pairing with your order. Live music on Friday night. Thanks we hope to visit again soon!
