The restaurant structure seemed well maintained, but I noticed several non-functioning light bulbs. The flatware was clean, but only one fork out of three on our table was straight. The bread basket included two pieces of sesame flatbread that could easily be bought at Costco, two pieces of "focaccia" covered in heavy garlic, a halved sourdough roll, and a whole head of dry roasted garlic. It only got worse from there. My calamari was poorly cut, leaving strings connecting the rings, with heavy breading packed with spices. A drizzle of garlic mayo smothered the fried seafood, accompanied by an overpowering garlic tomato sauce. If you love garlic and don’t appreciate nuanced flavors, this dish might satisfy you. Then I ordered the Antipasto. The best way to describe it would be as a cobb salad without the boiled egg. It lacked some of the greens listed on the menu, and the cheese and salami were cut into tiny squares. The prosciutto was definitely not Italian. My guest chose the salmon cooked on a cedar plank. The menu description didn’t suggest it was an Italian dish, so I’ll give them that. While the fish was cooked well, it was drenched in caramelized onions. Again, if your taste buds aren't discerning, you might not miss the flavor of the fish you paid for. Our server then asked if we wanted to order dessert or coffee. Are you serious? Don’t do it! Don’t waste your time or money at this overpriced and underwhelming restaurant, where it’s clear the management has no interest in understanding why they aren’t busy.
