Lisa, one of the owners, also handles the service. The chef, originally from Calabria, Italy, truly knows his craft. If you're a fan of pistachios, you must try the imported pistachio ice cream from Italy—it's a pure delight, expertly crafted by the chef. If you're visiting from Quebec and Lisa isn’t there, be sure to ask for Napoleon; he speaks five languages and is also from Quebec.
This Italian restaurant is conveniently located near the beach, just a short walk from the intersection of Commercial Blvd. and A1A. It offers a relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, and creative takes on classic Italian dishes. The pizzas are particularly noteworthy, as they are crafted from an oblong type of bread rather than the typical round shape. The restaurant serves only beer and wine, and reservations are required for groups of eight or more. I highly recommend it!
For my main dish, I ordered the Chicken Milanese, which came as a large cutlet alongside a small arugula salad topped with generous slices of Parmigiano Reggiano—a lovely touch! They also provide their own olive oil and vinegar in cute little bottles right on the table. George had the lasagna, which was light and fluffy. After a long wait since 2 PM for my pistachios from Italy, I finally got to try the pistachio ricotta cake. It was so light and airy, almost like eating a cloud! We took some home, and I regret not getting more. Everything we had was like a party in your mouth. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was excellent. We will definitely be back!
The cozy Italian restaurant is just a few steps south on A1A and it is tucked into a small strip center. The restaurant specializes in pinsa style pizza which is a cloud-like, crispy dough. They also have a ton of Italian favorites and pasta dishesthat we want to come back and try. The atmosphere is welcoming, laid back, and comforting. If you?re hungry at the start, youcan order a side of the pinsa bread plain and can dip it in olive oil and cheese. We ordered the meat lover?s pinsa as well asthe Nduja pinsa. The meat lover?s is packed to the brim with high quality Italian meats nestled perfectly on that airy dough. They don?t add too many toppings which often ruin a good pizza. The Nduja was miraculous. It is layered with Stracciatellacheese that, when cooked, blankets the dough in a cream like sauce. This is topped with a spicy salami spread which reallybrings the heat. I rate it about 3 out 5 in terms of spiciness so be ready. The combination is highly recommended. The servicewas fantastic and you will want to have a return visit set up because you will fall in love with this place. 4.5/5 stars
This place is absolutely incredible. Been there twice and can?t speak more highly about Liz and her staff. Got the charcuterie board twice and it?s a must get. Went with the pizza one time and the pasta the other time both amazing. Great ambiance andgood prices. Love this place in case you couldn?t sense it.
