We were surprised to find this beautiful restaurant with views of the river here in lauderdale. the quality of their eating was top notch and tasty! its city dining room without breaking the wallet. if they ever find themselves stranded here, driftwood is a definitiw place to go! the waitress was friendly and the ambiente was of finer odour! Eating good quality that is always consistent. ruth and steve go away from there to accommodate someone with food allergies and food requirements with absolutely no fuss. great location on the canal and can not expect to visit in summer when all doors can be open:

Really lovely casual restaurant. We had a late booking and arrived about 40 minutes early on Christmas Eve. They welcomed us and showed us to a great table. We are light eaters and shared two vegetarian dishes being the risotto and cauliflower sukkah. The wine list has good Tasmanian wines at reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly. We’ll come back because I loved it and wouldn’t mind trying the desserts. They looked fab as they left the kitchen.
