The atmosphere, attentive staff and wide-select vegan menu consisting of spring rolls, curry puffs, soft satay tofu, zucchini and cauliflower fritters, vegan stir fry’s and much more! Could not rate this place higher and would definitely make the Launceston-Latrobe trip again just for this!! Thank you Thai Imperial
Thai Imperial has a number of vegan options clearly marked. Vegan entrees include Thai Spring Rolls, Thai Curry Puffs, Soft Tofu Mushroom Wonton Salad, Zucchini corn fritters. Stirfry options include: Cashew, Satay, Spicy Basil, Garlic Chilli, Sweet and Sour, Ginger, and their Heavenly stirfry. Highly recommend the Zucchini and Corn Fritters. Have uploaded a copy of the takeaway menu.
We’ve visited Thai imperial a couple of times now and have loved it each time! There’s a vegan menu you can request but there is also some vegan options on the general menu too. There are items such as the salt and pepper tofu, the zucchini fritters, the garlic rotti that comes with both a sweet chilli sauce and a super tasty satay sauce, as well as the curry puffs and the pumpkin soup. We most often get an assortment of these entrees to share so we can taste everything because we can never choose! We have always left full and happy, sharing 4-5 entrees among 2-3 people. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating, we have always felt very welcome. A lot of the vegan options are gluten free too which is great for some of my friends/family, it doesn’t taste any different to us and gives everyone more options! We would love to see a gluten free rotti! Great job to the staff at Thai imperial
I avoided this place because they sponsor horse racing but they now have a MASSIVE vegan veg gluten free menu, they even have a vegan lunch menu special. I had salt and pepper tofu starter with a chilli sauce YUM and then I had a garlic roti with satay dipping sauce, also delicious. Another person in our party had a laksa and it was enough for two people. Really nice place for dinner so I am rating it (and trying to forget about the horse racing stuff)
I've been hesitant to visit this restaurant because of their sponsorship of horse races, but I'm glad I finally decided to give it a try. They now offer an extensive vegan and gluten-free menu, including a special vegan lunch menu. I started with the salt and pepper tofu, served with a tasty chili sauce, followed by a garlic chili dish with a delicious satay dipping sauce. One of my friends ordered the laksa, and it was a generous portion—enough for two! Overall, it’s a lovely place for dinner, and I'm trying to overlook their involvement in horse racing.
